Infrastructure that someone is actually responsible for

Servers, networks and systems managed by engineers who get paged when something breaks — not a ticket queue that reads your emails once a week.

Why teams call us

Infrastructure nobody owns is infrastructure nobody watches

Most of the environments we take over were set up correctly once, then left alone for years.

One person knows the passwords

They set it up three years ago, they've since left, and nobody has full access anymore.

Patches are months behind

Updates get postponed because nobody wants to be the one who breaks production.

Backups have never been tested

They run every night — whether they'd actually restore is a different question.

Capabilities

What we take on

Everything is documented and handed over as we go, not held as leverage.

Server provisioning & hardening

New servers built to a documented, repeatable standard — not clicked together by hand.

Patch management

OS and security patches applied on a schedule, tested before they reach anything that matters.

Network & firewall configuration

Segmentation, VPN access and firewall rules that are reviewed, not just inherited.

Monitoring & alerting

Uptime, disk, memory and certificate expiry watched continuously, with alerts that reach a person.

Backup & disaster recovery

Automated backups with restores actually tested on a schedule, and a written recovery procedure.

Vendor & licence management

A single record of what's running where, what it costs, and when it renews.

How we work

How we take over an environment

We start by finding out what's actually running before we change anything.

STEP 01

Audit current state

A full inventory of servers, access, licences and known issues — usually surprises everyone.

STEP 02

Fix the highest risks first

Missing backups, exposed credentials and single points of failure get addressed before anything else.

STEP 03

Put monitoring in place

So the next incident is caught by an alert, not a customer complaint.

STEP 04

Ongoing management

Patching, monitoring and support under a monthly agreement with a response commitment.

Engagement models

Three ways to bring us in

All three come with named engineers, written scope and monthly reporting.

FAQ

Questions we're asked before starting

Anything else, write to us and an engineer will answer.

admin@cybexsoft.com
Do you work with our existing hosting provider?+

Usually, yes — AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, or a bare-metal provider you already use. We rarely need to migrate anything to take over management.

What's your response time?+

Support requests are acknowledged in under two hours on business days. Managed servers are monitored 24×7, and genuine outages are handled outside those hours.

Do you manage on-premise servers too?+

Yes, alongside cloud infrastructure. The monitoring and patching approach is the same either way.

Will you take over infrastructure someone else built?+

Often. We start with an audit, then give an honest recommendation — keep, improve in place, or rebuild — with the cost of each.

Do you need full admin access?+

We ask for scoped access under your own account structure, which you can revoke at any point. Nothing needs to move into our name.

Want a second set of eyes on your infrastructure?

A short call is enough to tell you whether what you have is fine, or where the real risk is sitting.
